The journey began when a client approached ABN Design Studio seeking a specialised partner for a high-end poolscaping visualisation. After reviewing our portfolio and CAD-based expertise, they entrusted us to transform their conceptual ideas into detailed, photorealistic outputs. The initial brief outlined the project vision, spatial context, and key design intent, with a primary focus on creating a realistic and immersive pool environment that effectively communicates the design prior to execution.

Scope of Work:
• Develop a 3D conceptual design of the poolbased on the client's sketches and notes.
• Create multiple design variations for the mainview to explore layout, material, and lighting possibilities.
• Deliver photorealistic 3D renderings showcasing the final pool design in context with its surroundings.
• Ensure realistic water reflections, landscaping elements.
• Provide render-ready files and visuals suitable for presentation and construction reference.

2. : Project Planning and Execution
After receiving the client inputs, our team followed a structured approach to transform the provided references into a refined and realistic poolscape visualization. We began by analyzing the 2D drawings and reference images to understand the layout, proportions, and overall design intent. Based on this, a detailed 3D model was developed to establish the pool design and surrounding environment. The focus then shifted to enhancing visual realism through accurate materials, lighting, and water reflections, ensuring the scene felt natural and immersive. Landscape elements were carefully integrated to add depth, balance, and a cohesive outdoor setting. Throughout the process, continuous refinements were made to achieve a high-quality, photorealistic final output aligned with the client’s vision.

Initial Client Feedback
Once the initial 3D model and first rendered views of the poolscape were completed, the design was shared with theclient for review.
This stage marked a key milestone in the workflow, allowing the client to experience their concept in a realistic visualform for the first time. It provided an opportunity to evaluate the overall layout, proportions, materials, and lighting.
Based on this review, the client shared valuable feedback and suggestions, which guided the next phase of designrefinements and visual enhancements
So, we presented the intermediate result to the client to showcase the current progress.
This helped ensure alignment with his expectations before moving forward.
During this session, the client provided clear and constructive feedback, including adjustments to materials, refinements in landscaping elements, and minor layout improvements to better match their original vision.
This collaborative interaction helped us gain a deeper understanding of the client’s expectations and ensured stronger alignment for the next phase of development. Based on the feedback, the design was refined with improved detailing, material accuracy, and overall visual quality.
3.2 The Second Review Round :
Client Annotations & Final Refinements
• During the second review stage, the client shared annotated images highlighting required design improvements. Thesereferences guided precise refinements to enhance realism and overall composition.
• Key updates included adding tall trees for balance, improving landscape depth with shrubs, enhancing water reflections,and introducing outdoor furniture and human elements for scale and liveliness.
The revised visuals were shared with the client, who expressed strong satisfaction with the improvements in realism, detailing,and overall visual impact.
This stage successfully finalized the design, leading to the delivery of high-resolution renders.
